Supports .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .webp, .gif, .bmp · up to 25MB

About Image Converter

Convert images between PNG, JPEG, and WebP entirely in your browser, with an adjustable quality setting for the lossy formats. Convert one image or a whole batch, and see exactly how much smaller each file got.

How to use it

  1. Drop or select one or more images (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, or BMP source files, up to 25MB each).
  2. Choose an output format: WebP, JPEG, or PNG.
  3. Adjust the quality slider for WebP or JPEG (PNG is always lossless, so quality doesn't apply).
  4. Click Convert, then download each result or grab them all as a .zip.

Common use cases

  • Shrinking images before uploading them to a website
  • Converting PNG screenshots to WebP to cut page weight
  • Batch-converting a folder of images to a consistent format

FAQ

Does this support AVIF?

Not currently: output formats are WebP, JPEG, and PNG.

Why can't I adjust quality for PNG output?

PNG is a lossless format, so there's no quality trade-off to make: the quality slider only applies to WebP and JPEG.

Can I convert PNG to WebP, or JPG to PNG?

Yes — pick any of WebP, JPEG, or PNG as the output format no matter what format your source images are in.
